The Workshop and all satellite events will be held at the headquarters of the Italian National Research Council, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, Rome. Detailed information on how to reach the venue are available in Italian only in the “Come raggiungere la sede centrale” web page in the CNR web site.

Here, a summary of such information is reported.

Arriving by plane
From Rome Fiumicino International airport (code FCO), take the “Leonardo express” no-stop train to Roma Termini railways station. The trip is about 30′ and trains are leaving every 15′ (see the related page for details). A connection by bus from Fiumicino airport to Roma Termini is also available.
Once in Roma Termini, follow directions below from this station to the venue.

Arriving by train
Roma Termini is the main railways station in Rome. All major cities are connected by fast trains (TAV, Treni Alta Velocità) to this station.
Railways companies operating in Roma Termini are:

  • Trenitalia, with an extended network covering all Italian regions,
  • Italo Treno, with fast connections to all main Italian cities.

From Roma Termini to CNR Headquarters
Roma Termini is about 1.5 Km far from CNR Headquarters.
You can reach the venue on foot in ca. 15 minutes. Alternatively, take the bus n. 492 which leaves just outside Roma Termini every 7′, direction “Stazione Tiburtina”. Exit the bus after six stops at “Ramni”.
