Social activity
Social activity will be held on Tuesday November 12, 2019.
It will include a visit of Paestum archaeological site and museum. Paestum is one of the most beautiful ancient Greek cities of the Southern Italy (the ancient Magna Graecia) and is located about 50 km far from Fisciano campus. The social activity will be followed by the dinner nearby.

Programme
Departure from the meeting venue: At the end of the afternoon sessions, a bus will leave from the meeting venue and transfer all the participants to Paestum (the planned duration of the trip is 1h).
Visit: A guided tour of about 2h of the archaeological ruins and the museum, which hosts some of the most important archaeological finds of the ancient city including the famous “Tomba del tuffatore”, will follow.
Dinner: The social dinner will be served at the restaurant “Villa Rita”, that is at short walking distance from the archaeological park, at around 20:00.
Return to hotels: After the social dinner, the bus will transfer all the participants to Salerno, and then to Fisciano to leave those participants who are lodged there or in Baronissi.

The program may vary depending on the weather conditions. We suggest to bring with you an umbrella or a coat, and to wear comfortable shoes.
